Sharing, we all learn how to share as children; we easily learn to share cookies, toys, friends, space, and a handful of other things before we are aged five. I suppose to some extent we learn how to share love as children, but how far outside of the inner-family circle is that love extended? To friends or even strangers? Although it is a good thing that we are taught at a young age not to trust strangers, do you sometimes feel that you are loathed or looked down upon when you're in public? Rest assured, you're not alone.

While we are almost all well-versed in how to show love, caring, kindness and compassion to our families and friends, it's not often that you find yourself sharing love with a total stranger, is it? You might say, "of course I don't share love with strangers," and I can totally understand that. I guess in my own beliefs and morals love is something that does not stop at the obvious displays of love that we show to those close to us. For myself, love spills over into smiles, kind gestures and words, offering help, or any other warmth you can offer your fellow man.

I love making people smile, it fills my heart up just knowing that something as simple as a 'thank you' when I pay a bill, or when I step off of the bus can make someone's entire day. I find that nine times out of ten if someone approaches me with a scowl or a frown on their face I'll be able to make them smile through some kind gesture. I find it's easier to live happy with those smiling around me.

I've recently gotten into the habit of randomly giving people the peace symbol in public. It's really funny because some people giggle and smile, some people just barely smile, some people give it back, but everybody reacts to it. I suppose because of certain negative aspects of popular culture these days everyone is feeling jaded, well why not cheer them up (and yourself) by offering a smile or a peace sign to them, it's a guaranteed laugh on your part anyways, and it's not like brussel-sprouts, it won't kill you, lol. :)

Get creative, keep smiling and offer your kindness to someone else who might need a bit of a Love Boost!
