What is the
purpose of this website?
This site
is a webportal for any person in need of
Love.
Love comes in many ways be it support, smiles, or kind words. We hope to
help individuals find love in their busy days for themselves and others in
order to find inner peace. Ideally this is a home to various
ways in which you can find love on your own or offer love to those around
you. Love is also a web space where you can find compassionate, caring
individuals who would like to extend their reach to others who find daily
life hard.
Who is Natasha Lee? I am a
25 year old Canadian woman, I am a musician, a student, and a wife. I am now
overcoming years of self-hate, fear, self-harm and clinical depression. Although I
have used medication in the past to cope with mental illness, I am now
using Love as a method to heal, mature and become a better person. I find that through a positive mindset
and through compassion I have been able to forgive my past and my personal
pain. I believe that the easiest road to healing is through Love for
yourself and others.
What inspired your decision to create this
Website? I come into contact with angry, bitter people on a
daily basis. The general feeling that I get from the general population is
that there is a feeling of loathing for the self and towards others. I
would like to offer a place of healing for everyone to find a way to get
away from the veneer of hate. I find it incredibly distressing to exist in
a world where there is so much pain, in order to get away from that I find
the spot inside of me where the love is the brightest and I hover there. I
tried to find websites like this where one could get away from pain and
just celebrate love, kindness and compassion, and I was unsuccessful; I
thought that the world needed a Love boost.
When did was this website
created?
The first version of Love was released to the public on Friday, July
21th, 2006.

The second version was released on Sept

Are you a professional
therapist? No.
Although I have studied some aspects of Psychology, I am not a trained
professional. I can only offer support through my own experience with
mental illness and sexual assault. If you need support please contact your
local crisis centre, look for a listing in your local yellow pages. Although I'm not a therapist I do wish to offer hope to
those who are willing to take it, including yourself.
Can I
contact you for Support?
Sure you can! I have no problem receiving letters or e-mails. I ask that
you understand that I am not a therapist or a professional in any way, I'm
just trying to spread Love. Please also realize that above this website I
have college, work and a family to love too, so please be patient when
waiting for a reply. It could take me upwards of two weeks to reply, but
feel free to write. You can contact me via the
contact page.
What is your affiliation
with Haullie Free and
Voices of Strength?
There are a few actually. Haullie Free (The
founder of Voices of Strength) is one of my oldest and dearest friends.
She has taught me so much about healing that I would say I owe my wellness
to her. Haullie and I are also both very devout Tori Amos fans, it is
through Tori's music that we became friends. We also both worked on the A
Sorta Fundraiser for
RAINN
a few years back. Although we originally met online we had the chance to
meet when I stayed at her house in 2003; I still look on that vacation as
the best week of my life. Haullie recently asked me to submit my story to
her new audio documentary, Voices of Strength, she also asked me to
compose the music for the CD; working on the project brought out a lot of
emotion and grief that I thought had disappeared, in the end it was very
liberating and healing for me. Haullie is also a
staff member here at 'Love'.
Voicesofstrength.org
is
also the host site to Love, so you can see we are affiliated in several
ways.
Is this a fansite for
a specific person?
Not at all. The first layout was dedicated to the love and
friendship of John Lennon and Paul McCartney of The Beatles. Otherwise the
website is dedicated to nothing other than peace, love, understanding,
kindness and compassion for all mankind.
Who designs Layouts for you?
Natasha does the layouts for the
Website and
Haullie does the layouts at the
'Love' Forum. We are not taking requests at this time to do images or
websites for our readers.
Will you
affiliate my website with yours?
It really depends, if your website has
something to do with peace, love, friendship, kindness, compassion, or healing
then submit your link to me via the contact page. I will link all affiliates to the main page. If it does not
pertain to love, then I'll probably decline an affiliate position; I will
link to your website in a links section though, so submit your site either
way and I'll have a look at it.
How can I
link your website to mine?
Thanks for linking Love, please
visit the 'Link To Love' page and take a banner
or a button and put it up on your own page! Please do not direct
link! If you need an uploading server please use one of the many uploading
servers available to the public such as
photobucket.com.
Please contact us so that we can add your link to
our links page.
